Character Description

Magdeline wasn’t born the most beautiful of girls. She thought of herself as rather average, until puberty hit, then she became a little above average. She had a nice smile and a nice body, that’s all that counted to get her where she really wanted to go. She keeps her red hair long, her eyes brown because she’s not too fond of contacts, and her body fit because she’s a perfectionist. She always has a cooking smell about her.

Personality

Magdeline is physically strong and rather strong in attitude as well. She doesn’t like being pushed around much. Fond of doing her own thing she likes to try new things in her cooking and everyday life as well. Willing to try everything at least once, she’s a free spirit. Able to carry her own in more ways than one, she is witty and will do anything to learn of new things. When meeting new people she is rather shy and will not say much at all, it takes a few days for her to get used to people if she even takes time to do so. Toward regular humans she is rather untrusting, and toward other mutants she is fascinated to a degree or just plain out scared of them. She thinks her own power is rather useless as she is now on a ship that could kill herself and others if a wall or two were breached by her punching things into them.

Background

Once upon a time, in a town far away, there lived a couple that went by the names of Vince and Hannah. They were a nice couple, rather down to earth, and never dreaming or hoping for anything that would have people laugh at them. All they ever dreamed about was having a happy life, and having a child. It was hope for this child that kept them going, working their days away, saving up for the day that would have them rushing to the hospital. Finally one day, Hannah became pregnant. Nine months later, a little girl was born.

Now they were living the American dream. They had a nice double wide trailer, each other, and a daughter. They named their daughter Magdeline and the father gave her his last name. Doting upon their daughter, they raised her with a heavy hand as they were raised, but more love than either of them could have imagined they possessed.

When their precious Magdeline hit the age of 12, she became a woman, or started actually growing into a woman with her first monthly cycle. Along with this average human curse came other things. She was able to lift, push and pull more weight than her father could with his tractor or any other machinery. Delighted that their daughter was unique, they began studying up on what the causes may be, only to gain a world of trouble. People wanted to come and study their daughter, take her away. So Vince and Hannah gave their precious daughter all the money they had, and shipped her off to a private school, far from home.

There Magdeline led a normal life. Trying to never show her strength. Finally she found her niche in life without using her power, cooking. She was an excellent cook. When choosing a college she went to a culinary school a little closer to home. After two wonderful years there she was found again. This time she struck out on her own, after sneaking back and wishing her family well and kissing them through tears.

Soon the quiet and depressed Magdeline found herself among other people with powers or at least people more accepting. She had accidentally gotten drunk, a guy plastered himself on her and she pushed him away, completely through the bar wall and into a waiting parked car. Here she was taken to a ship, granted stay as long as she worked, and here she was safe.
